The following apply to the website
Any order placed by the Buyer shall be considered as acceptance of these general terms and conditions, which form an integral part of the agreement, to the exclusion of all other general or special terms and conditions emanating from the Seller, which are always the subject of an express written document.
Prices and product information
Sales prices on the website are listed in euros and include VAT but exclude shipping costs. The seller has the right to change and correct the prices of products and product information. If a product is discounted shortly after your purchase, there is no claim for a refund of the price difference.
The salesperson makes every effort to post product descriptions and photo materials as clearly and correctly as possible. Information on items (e.g. sizes and materials) are always indicative and color shades on the photo may differ slightly from real colors. You can always get additional explanations about the offer by sending an email.
Gift certificates are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. After this date it is no longer possible to use the voucher in the store or webshop.
Order acceptance
The Vendor shall be bound by an order only after it has been confirmed in writing or after it has commenced execution. The information regarding the products, pricing, and detailed order information has been prepared and provided subject to change and correction.
Payment
Payment for your order is processed through the Mollie payment provider’s system. (see privacy statement)
Shipping
For standard items, the package will be handed over to bpost within 4 business days of receipt of payment, unless otherwise specified. Personalized orders have a delivery time of 7 to 10 business days. Errors in the shipping address are your responsibility as the Buyer and will result in additional costs if a package needs to be reshipped.
The delivery times listed are not binding but are provided for informational purposes only. No delay in delivery may give rise to termination of the sale or payment of damages to the Buyer, except in the case of intentional delay.
In the event of non-delivery of the goods (with the exception of shipments sent by mail, which, as stated, are AT THE BUYER’S OWN RISK), any amounts paid by the Buyer will be refunded without interest or other compensation.

ter you place your order, you will receive an automatic email confirming your order. If an error has crept into the inventory system and an item is no longer in stock after all, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
Right of Withdrawal
If you purchase goods (excluding personalized items) from me, you have the right to decide within 14 days of delivery that you do not wish to keep the goods. You can then return your order without paying a penalty and without giving a reason (you are responsible for the return shipping costs). Within 14 days of receiving your returned order or after you have indicated that you wish to cancel the contract, we will refund the full purchase price using the same payment method you used to make the purchase. You will therefore be responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. I can wait to issue a refund until the goods have been returned.
During the first 14 days after delivery, I expect you to handle the order and packaging with care. If you still want to be able to return the goods as described above, you may only unpack or use them to the extent necessary to assess whether you wish to keep them. Returned items may have been tried on, but must not have been used. If you return the goods, please do so, if possible, with the original packaging, including all accessories provided, in their original condition and packaging, and in accordance with our instructions below.
You can return your package by mail or through a courier service.
To exercise your right of withdrawal quickly and correctly, you must use the withdrawal form.
Personal data
By placing an order on madebyellen-b2b.be, you as the Buyer expressly consent to the processing and use of your personal data for purposes described in our privacy statement.
Complaints
Should you not be satisfied with your order, it may be returned within 14 business days provided the goods are unused WITH EXCEPTION OF PERSONALIZED JEWELS. Please do let me know via email first so I can get you the return information. Shipping costs are at the buyer’s expense. Within 5 business days of receiving the goods in their original packaging, the purchase price minus the shipping costs will be refunded.
All goods sold are covered by the legal warranty of 2 years (24 months). This warranty covers the “non-conformity” of the goods, i.e. all situations in which the delivered good does not correspond to the good requested or ordered.
Force Majeure
The seller is not liable for any delay in the performance or for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its control, such as, for example, difficulties in procurement or shortages of raw materials, energy, or transportation, or delays in transportation, strikes, lockouts, work stoppages, or other collective labor disputes affecting the seller or its suppliers, even if such events are foreseeable.
Evidence
Electronic evidence (e-mail, backups, etc.) is accepted by all parties involved within the framework of sales agreements and business relationships.
Severability
If any of the present terms and conditions were to be declared null and void or were to be inapplicable, the remaining terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect, and such term or condition shall apply to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
All agreements entered into with me as the seller are governed by Belgian law.
Disclaimer
The domain name madebyellen-b2b.be, the logo, and other elements such as photos of items associated with Made by e l l e n are protected by intellectual property rights. Anyone wishing to reproduce or distribute them to the public must first obtain express written permission from Ellen Van Assche.
The jewelry is made with small parts that are not suitable for children under 4 years of age. “Made by e l l e n” cannot be held liable for accidents that occur as a result of or while wearing its jewelry.
